The director Jon Favreau has additionally directed the films Elf (2003), Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005), Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Cowboys & Aliens (2011), and The Jungle Book (2016), and served as an executive producer on The Avengers (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).

Are those good or bad? Are they going to ruin Lion King which is one of my favorites? Based on the way Star wars went under Disney, expectations are bad.

Most Jon Favreau films are good. Iron Man 3 and Cowboys & Aliens were not, but they had many problems a producer can't fix.

The miscues with Star Wars has been making too many too fast, which can cause poor conceptual, scripting and other decisions. They hit the wall with the Han Solo film and will be taking more care going forward.
