    So far released to art houses for award season, it's up for Golden Globes. Oscar nods are virtually guaranteed, as is wider release after award season.

    The amphibian man is played by Doug Jones, also known as Abe Sapien from Hellboy and Lt. Commander Saru on Star Trek: Discovery.

    Hopefully they'll release in mainstream theatres in the Asian regions
