    Hello,

I have a 500 GB usb hdd connected to an LG TV, for DVR purposes. Now, it started giving errors regarding the storage device, so I checked the disk on computer.

The MFT is 100% full, as apparently LG splits the recordings in multiple small files. The disk was formatted with the standard MFT settings and has an MFT of approx. 200 MB. I need to increase it...

    How do I do this?

Is it first to "fsutil behaviour set mftzone x", with x to e.g. 3 or 4, then format the disk, then set fsutil back to its default? Or is there a better way?
(formatting the disk is an option for me)

    Thanks
