  • 37°C 99°F in Slovenia, how hot is there

Yesterday we had 37°C heat with no wind. Even inside with aircon it's hard to think. It's a bit on the high side (normal is 34 for this time of year). How hot is it in your place?

We've been below 30°C most all of this summer, maybe a few days above. Tops. The forecast is 26-27°C highs this week. Nighttime lows are 10-20°C.

Latitude about 42.3240° N, almost 4° south of you but we have the world's largest collection of fresh water on 3 sides.

Mid-to-high 20°C in Santiago De Compostela, luckily it is the coldest area of Spain as in the rest of the country they are suffering with temperatures over 40°C. It has been unusually dry in Santiago so that may cause issues later.
Over 30°C in Warsaw, with temperature not really cooling down at night that is quite uncomfortable...
      Low 20s°C in Belgium.

We've had some highs, but had 26-28C today, but felt very cool in the shade.
The Jet stream is a lot lower than usual over UK/France, so our weather is off a bit.
Should have 30's this time of year.

I live in West Slovenia near Italy now, 50km from sea. It's California + Nevada of Slovenia with palm trees, vineyards, almost never snows, almost never below 0°C in winter, casinos and bawdy houses, people vote left, many speak romanic (Italian) language . There are 20% more sunny days and it's 3°C warmer than capital Ljubljana. I often go down to Italian side of town for a drink by bicycle or on foot and sometimes I go to beach after work.

In the center of North America for July, temps ranged from 'prox' 25c to nearly 40c. Then August rolled in and it was like someone turned on the ac.

Son in law popped his drone up and took some pics of the Lake Huron coast behind the up north house.

This has to be one of the coolest summers in recent history on the East Coast...we've gotten a decent amount of rain every 5-7 days its seems and we haven't had more than 3-4 days straight of 85F/30C+ temps.
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

Low 20s C ATM, great hiking wheather. It's a pretty nice summer I think. Spring was dry, bad for some of the farmers.

Typical south Florida Summer, Heat index 42-43c daily. Lastnight low temp was 28.9c

We did not experience a true cold front this winter so bugs like mosquitos got a headstart.

We havent had a cold Winter here for years, and are starting to have mosquito-virus problems that are usually confined to the tropics.
Chikunguya has been detected in the VAR in the south, and it seems to have been caught from local mosquitos/fly's, rather than someone catching it abroad and bringing it here.
Its still not very hot though, for August.
