  • Matrox announces next-gen multi-display cards powered by AMD GPUs

Hmmm as expected this place is a ghost town...but hey here is some Matrox hardware news for the first time in three years!

Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

This might be good. I like professional cards. Maybe when I build a desktop again.

            Blast from the past.

Now, it's a shame that Matrox can't produce a decent GPU anymore. And about their choice... at least they are consistent with their hate towards Linux.

LOL. This must be like about the only site/forum in the world where people would still understand this. And who knows? Maybe they'll actually call it G800-series!

Wait, didn't AMD decide to cease (discrete) GPU production and concentrate on APUs? Guess Matrox is getting out of options.

Really? That would seem strange to me. I would think you'd do GPUs to innovate and then integrate those matured innovations into APUs.
