    Default Holy 2.5GB inbox in Thunderbird index rebuild

    So some person has 2.5GB inbox (single folder, there are also others) in Thunderbird and index is corrupt.

    I've been rebuilding the index on HP 6710b laptop (C2D, 2GB, Win7 64) for a few (~5) hours today.

    As I see it will not complete soon enough I borrow machine with C2Q, 14GB 2k8 R2 virtual machine and install 64-bit build of Thunderbird.

    It churned through inbox in about 20 minutes with 64-bit thunderbird process using up to 4GB of RAM.
