        Been contemplating it.

WANT to play WoW, but it's just too pricey. $50 for the game (PER PERSON, Julie would want to play too) makes $100. Then $13/mo. PER PERSON.

A year's worth of WoW would be $350. Ouch.

So Guild Wars, being free after purchase (and cheaper to begin with), seems decent. Of course, now I hear rumors that the first major upgrade will be $$.

            Hi!

Ok, I've tried the 10hours Guild Wars Demo (sponsored by ATi - lol) and just bought the complete game.
I think it's nice because I don't have to pay each month for it.
I'm currently very busy because of my university project groups. If there is a group a can join I may consider it.

By the way it works great in 2048x768 (desktop strech mode) on my Parhelia (128MB, AGP4x). I've still not bought a 3rd EIZO TFT but maybe I can get one soon.

At work everyone plays Wow and since I don't want to pay, I bought Guild Wars.

              I like it, it's fun.

My brother bought it a while back and plays GW occasionally. I've tried to play it a few times but couldn't really get all that interested in it.

I've got my character now at level 7 (Ranger/Mesmer) but I'm still in the Tutorial part of the world (didn't have a lot of time since my first post).
