    Thumbs up Painkiller

Anyone played that recently? I have just copleted it and its not too shabby Reminds of serious sam a bit, but with much more interesting game play and you do have to put some thought in to it . Also the graphics is gorgeous, and the bosess WOW big is an understatement.

    Yeah it's great ...
I don't normally like games that end up with you having to fight a boss but ... as you say ... WOW ... bosses .... they are the bosses of all bosses !
Worth getting through the levels just to see em ... and on three screens Woooooah !

    @ Paddy
Is it correct that Painkiller requires the beta DX9 drivers?

    Yes...
If you have FAA-16x turned on there are a few places where white lines (glitches) appear around things .... for example in some but not all fog.... and FAA-16x really slow it down.

I run it at 3072X768 with no FAA-16x and it OK ... one or two minor slowdowns but very playable.
