BF 1942 SG Multiplayer not working anymore

Yesterday I get the error message "data differs from server" when I am tying to connect to an online server.
1.6 Patch is properly installed and when i am not using the chr79 modifier exe in order to get SG working then it works.

3 weeks before i sucessfuly player online SG!

SO there is no SG Online play possible right?
Or does anybody play online with SG?

They've disabled SG in online play. The makers of BF1942 stupidly decided that it's "cheating"

They got a point but the fps have to be higher to call it "cheating".

my friend is a more professional BF gamer than I and prefer to play on his PC with ~100 fps at 1024 than on my system with 3072x768 or 2400x600 with ~30-50 fps!

He claims even thath my fps are disadvantaging!
