    Welcome aboard

Your problem is not an uncommon one (unfortunatly).

You can go to our files section, and download Matrox's BIOS recovery utility. Instructions on how to use it are in the readme file:

    Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

Did you download the recover utility I listed, and follow the directions outlined in the text file?
You don't need to mess with progbios directly. Recover.exe will create you a boot disk that will fix the card for you.

this is what it says in progbios
            warning : invalid bios
warning : can not find pins structure
            mystique 220
            warning invalid pins offset...
            vga disabled- bios
warning cannot open bios input file
what do all this mean is there a way around this
i have tried every thing now

              Ahhhhh.
              A Mystique220.

Your topic title says "G220", which I thought was a typo, and that you meant G200.
Mystique220 is not a G series card, so that recover util will not work on it. It's just for G series cards.
              Mystique220 came before G100/200/250/etc.

What BIOS/biosprog are you using? It's possible you have the wrong one, if you where under the impression your card is a G series. You should be using the April '99 setup3.51 package available here:
              Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

                      Hmmmm.
That card didn't have a BIOS switch.

After consulting with Haig (Matrox's tech support manager), it sounds like you need to contact them for a bin file:

He's gotta call us so that we can send him a bin file and then use progbios to re-flash it.
Post your problem in Matrox's own forums, ask them to send you the bin file you need, and refer them to this thread.

Go to the link Kruzin gave you and ask for the file, they will help you out.
