    Default Drivers without PDesk ?

I`m currently running Win98SE. What happens if I deaktivate the automatic startup of the PDesk ? Does my G400 get all the necessary drivers and will the refreshrate stay at 100 MHz ?

Any advice would be appreciated !

That would depend on the drivers and tweaks you are using for your monitor.
If you used PDesk's adjusments to get to 100Hz on your monitor, and don't run PDesk on startup, it won't run at 100Hz.
If your monitor's driver allow for 100Hz, and you are able to select 100Hz in the windows monitor options, it should continue to run that way...
