Write footnote for a movie file

Hello,

I want to write footnote for movie files. I use
DirectShow for playing a movie file. Format of the
files usually are MPEG2.
One time I use TextOut(...) but I couldn't see what I
had wrote.

I used Matrox G400 DualHead.
