I'm not sure if there are any help groups or counselling for this particular aliment yet but I guess a pseudo scientific name will have to do for now. Its called 'how do I stop tweaking & overclocking my PC'. My god I have this unstoppable urge to stick heat sinks & fans on everything inside that steel beige box (well it was beige but now its been sanded down and has four coats of black spray paint & three coats of clear enamel). Someone stop me please this can't be healthy!
Can you stick small heat sinks on SDRAM modules?...arh.
Is anyone suffering from the same predicament because I would like to start a O/C anonymous group.
We can all sit around drinking coffee and smoking copious amounts of cigarettes and discuss the relative merits of sticking a ATX tower in a refrigerator while submersing an encapsulated cpu in a bucket of liquid nitrogen in an attempt to create zero resistance in the integrated circuits. Even better, we could get in to the fridge with the PC wearing a heavily insulated body suit but just have to tops of our skulls exposed. Then turn the thermostat down to zero Kelvin so our brain would take on superconductor like properties in an effort to anticipate every possible outcome another player on UT might think of and frag their arse before they even have a chance to fire off a round.
Is there any chance of redemption? Are people out there feeling the same way or am I just a lone freak?
Cheers.
