  • g200clk. What am i doing wrong?

    If i type in g200clk /2 1 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 0 0, i get the following values.
    casltncy: 3
    rrdelay : 1
    rcdelay : 2
    rasmin : 5
    rpdelay : 2
    wrdelay : 1
    rddelay : 0
    smrdelay: 1
    bwcdelay: 1
    bpldelay: 1
I thought that i would get values of
    1 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 0 0.

Why is this? Am i just stupid?

Also, when you type g200clk you get a summary. one line says:
    System PLL Parameters: M=16, N=125, P=0, S=3

    What does all this mean?
    I'm totally confused.

1 is not always 1... it depends on what the programmer wants it to mean. In this case, it represnets options.... 0 = option (speed) 1, 1 = speed 2, etc. More than likely just a "carry over" of binary "on / off" switching. If you really want an explanation of the PLL parameters, check out MatroX Files: http://grafi.ii.pw.edu.pl/gbm/matrox/ For the purposes of using g200clk, you don't really need to worry about it... if you are like me, and just like to know these things, check the site out thoroughly.
