Oh no. As if the dual-head puns weren't bad enough.

The texture detail rivals quake2. The boundaries between the polys are very noticeable (ugly squares all the place). No mipmapping (?).

It seems as core design put it togheter in a hurry. Oh well, they did it also with tr2 and tr3.

Dont you just HATE the Christmas we-gotta-our-game-out-the-door-even-if-its-****ed rush. Patch-mania runs wild again.

Not bad. Actually the first game demo that supports bumpmapping. To my knowledge.
BTW what did you do after opening the big blue doors?

Do you think THIS is EMBM? Then it would be disappointing. A special patch seems to be required. Not yet, not now.

Star: what the hell are you talking about? The demo does support EMBM, it is all thru out the demo - if you cannot tell you are blind.

                      RickN --

no, I'm not sure at all. Saw it on a Voodoo 2 as well, and the difference in fact is hardly noticeable -- as far as bump mapping is concerned. Compare it to the Tech Demo (especially the ripples on the water surface) and you'll see what I mean.
