Sorta what I was suggesting with HASHBYTES but simpler because, of course, having such a translation table removes all further ubfuscation requirements.
Still don;t like it but if I have to....
Well, reversible encryption with SQL Server is actually rather simple, it has AES_256 out of the box. I could secure the keys with a lawyer and have them released when required. The issue with that...
I need to create a file, basically a table, where certain columns may not be easily readable. For instance, a contract number. It needs to be encoded. However, that contract number may appear more...
FCOL: Why isn't there a reversible deterministic data obfuscation routine for SQL Server
Been wrecking my brains and googling like hell. Sure, reversible and deterministic will mean it'll be...
However, that analysis suffers from survivorship bias. But yeah, Buffet, I think, is more of a value rather than growth investor. Until 2018 (pre some sort of GAAP accounting rule change he did not...
And there is a lot to say for that. However, consider this: You are in tech, that is where you make your money. If tech goes well, chances are you'll do well. Your know-how, expertise, experience,...
Now that, IMHO, is a very wise consideration.
Yeah, relative to March 2020, it is hard to find losers I guess. Reminds me of Buffets' duck in a pond analogy.
My main issue with the current oil price is that it is, AFAIK, still subject to...

Betrayal at Krondor, wow, that was an amazing game. Got me to read Feist as well.
BOK felt so much more as an open world then I have ever seen in an RPG. Or adventure. I guess halfway between the...
Lol
I am still, to my liking, somewhat overweight in stock. This is because I refuse to sell stock and rather write call options at prices where I would make a small profit. This works to some extent as...
I am just wondering why would you make a car that can do 200 mph and 0-60 in 2 secs? More importantly, say you did 100mph and 0-60 in 4 secs (Doubt it is a lineair relationship but you get the gist),...
What UtwigMU said.
MMGA!
Uhm, but only with this thread??
Jup,works for me as well now.
@Sasq: Thanks!
So I am consistently getting an error since this morning when I try to read a thread, whether I try to get to the first or last post.
I hope someone can fix this. But it'll be hard to read this...
Tempting ;)
Sp Jan 22nd, do we know how many payloads it will deliver> Max weight per unit is 830Kg but now I am wondering whether the total payload can be more?
I can trade at E4 + 0.04% on the Euronext exchanges, NYSE, Nasdaq, Milan and Swiss exchange. But I do pay E48 p.a. fixed fee and 0.2 p.a. holding fee as well.
I do have real people on the helpdesk....
Depending on how much that monthly amount would be, the real thing is transaction cost. I invest tens of euros in about 7 equity/mutual funds each. You can't do that with stocks as transaction costs...
ROFL! But yeah, the idea that thousands, tens of thousands of ppl worked hard to get me (you) that EUR 15 is strangely satisfying.
So I don't advise on portfolio management and even if I did, I am a bad investor so I would advise to ignore anything I say. However.... ;)
What do you mean by rolling over put options? Say the...
The little I do in active portfolio management I do through ABN AMRO. And I only do stocks which are listed on the Amsterdam stock exchange.
