  • Half Life...Corrupt Textures

    Hey guys...
Installed 5.13 drivers and latest patch for half life...
The walls are all corrupt in the game looks like the monitor texture repeating itself over and over on almost all the walls?
anybody no how to fix this problem...besides going back to 4.51 drivers.
    Thanks,
    cyrk

    My system: P2 400, 256 megs ram, mystic G200, 2.2 bios, 5.31 driverse

    cyrk,

This is a known issue. Be thankful you are only seeing them in 5.13. I see them in all versions. I still use D3D for HalfLife.

I also have those corrupted textures since 5.13, but ONLY when i play TFC online.. (if i play TFC standalone (not much fun but he...) the texture corruption doesn't exist), in DM or Counterstike (very cool BTW) it doesn't happen....

      very strange

Is your desktop set to 32-bit? I understand from previous threads that HL likes 16-bit only...

in kingpin i've seen the same corruption, so it doesn't occur only in halflife.
