  • Expendable

The bundled version of expendable crashes right before the video starts. I have tried the game on two computers with the same result. Has anyone else tried expendable? experienced the same problem? I tried the solutions on rage's faq and they did not work.

I am not sure which bios version but I have not updated the card's bios. The driver version is 4.11 and I am using powerdesk 5.13.

I am familiar with Ozric Tentacles. I have Arborescence. Great listening on long drives along with Mr. Bungle

Don't tell me you know Mr Bungle?! I thought I was the only one who liked that group. I even use MrBungle as my Quake player name!! It's really weird music, but I kinda like that...

Mr. Bungle is also great for the work-place. Keeps the dilettantes away.

I would guess that there isn't anyone who has cared to try expendable. The demo was enjoyable but the full version won't run.

LOL ... back to topic guys

have a look onto your PowerDesk info tab ...
there should be a bios revision number given and you might need to update it.

                  Maggi,

I wasn't aware that there WAS a new BIOS for the G400 available yet...

Just tested Expendable on my MAX. Seems like 32bit colour is not possible. Tried 640x480x16, 800x600x16, and 1024x768x16 and they worked.

                    Streamed video at high res.

                    Stencil buffer off.

                    PowerDesk 32bit Zbuffer is on.

Once I try any 32bit color res, the game crashes.

                    Any ideas anyone?

I finally got expendable to work. Even better then that, Mr. Bungle is going to be at The House of Blues (New Orleans) in August.
