    Quake2, new drivers:

    640x480x16, demo1.dm2:
    wrapper: 25 fps (24 w/4.51 drivers)
    ICD : 27 fps

    AMD K6-300 128MB, G200 SGRAM 8MB

I must say, they FINALLY delivered what they promised me months ago.

      Quake 2, demo1.dm2:
      BETA2 ~24
      FINAL ~34

What do you have to say about that kick! It should have been like this a year ago though.

haven't bothered before with OGL drivers, was happy running HL and Unreal in D3D....

        BIOS 1.6 & 4.51 driver:

        Wintune98: D3D 91.9 Open GL 7.55

        3DMARK 99MAX: 935 3D marks CPU3D Marks 2304

        BIOS 2.3-11 & 5.13 driver:

        Wintune98 D3D 116.54 Open GL 69.06

        3DMARK 99MAX: 1939 3D marks CPU3D Marks 2336

Half-Life has developed a strange 'wobble' now and then, IE5 is a bit frazzled (posted details in 'hardware') and some corruption in HL OGL, but (and it might be a big but) that's playing 'Drug Barons' not the retail HL)

        -----------------------------------------
PII-266 (Dell XPS, no flames) OEM Intel AL440LX mobo, G200 Mill retail, no overclocking in sight and 128MB SDRAM...
