  • Backup software for use on LAN

What I would like to do is a full system backup through my LAN of other systems. I have my CDR on my file server and would like to backup the other systems using the CDR. I tried Nero but it wont let me pick the mapped drive for backup. So my question, is there a software package out that will let me do this type of backup?

    Thanks

    Oboy

When I make a backup of my system through the LAN I usually use Win2k's own backup facility. It can be used on the machine you're making the backup off and also from the "server".

Another thing to try, though slow on even a 100Mbit network is zipping/rar'ing.

Doesn't Win98SE have the Windows backup integrated as well? I know ME doesn't have that option anymore, but don't know about SE.
