  • use Trident 9400CXi as second card ?

Actually, I believe if you are trying for dual display, Winblows requires the second vid card to be PCI and on the approved list. (found link)

If VLB means versa local bus I don't think you'll find that it works in a isa slot.

use Trident 9400CXi as second card ?

This is probabely a long shot, but here goes:

Can I add a Trident 9400CXi to a machine equiped with a Millenium G200 AGP for use as a secondary adapter ?

The 9400CXi is a VLB-card, but it should work in 16 bit isa mode (it would only need to drive a monochrome vga monitor). According to references I have found on the net, the second adapter needs to have vga disabled (usually done with a jumper). There are several jumpers on the card, does anybody have a description for them ?

It probably is worth the bother to start using this card, but I figured I might as well give it a try !
