          Orbs SUCK!!!!!!!

          People buy them cause they look cool. They aren't worth a crap performance-wise and they can still damage your processor.

            The aluminum Orb had those same circular grooves too, xortam. Maybe they were trying to increase the surface area the thermal compound came in contact with? That is not the recognized approach regarding absorbing heat from a CPU though.

              Gee, all it takes to make the "Ord" (Orb) more efficient is drill 4 holes in the base! Check this post at amdmb for how to make your Orb perform better! -10C improvement!
