strange pb with raid and kt7a
Hi folks !
Here is my prob, if i tweak my bios to max, my raid 0 setup lost 10MB/s in disk throughput (reported by hdtach And sandra). Any idea ?
my raid array uses 16k cluster size
i have drive index at 33256 under sandra and falls behind 22000
hdtach falls from 78mb/s to 63Mb/s
here is my combo
athlon 1.2 (266 fsb)
2 * 256 pc133 cas2 MB
abit kt7a raid
2 ibm 60 gxp 40GB
edit : Well after some tweaking, i found out that the fast decode thingy in softmenu3 was to blame... everything is ok now
