  • Change MIME in IE5?

    Hey guys,
QuickTime has asserted itself over a lot of file types in IE. How do I switch them back? I can't find MIME stuff anywhere.

Have you tried the QuickTime applet in the Control Panel and unchecked its file associations?

My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types.

But yes, you should be able to simply uncheck them in the QuickTime settings.

Thanks fds, but I tried that already. It seems that the file options are not used by IE for web stuff.

Thanks omega, that did it. I wish they had chosen a better place for that.
