  • DVD ROM in Win2k

    I seem to have a little problem. In Windows 2000 Pro my DVD drive will not play DVD movies (only). PowerDVD 3.0 states the following about any DVD movie: Error Code 89020003: "The DVD disc might have been damaged so as to inhibit playback operation." (The disc's are not scratched). Otherwise the DVD ROM works fine DVD Discs/CD-A/CD-R all work in it.

    In Win98SE with the exact same player it works fine. The DVD drive has also been cleaned. So does anybody know what the problem is that is stopping DVD's from playing in Win2k? Thanks in advance for any answers/advice.
