    [*Next_Monitor_@80Hz_(2304x1440X8.Z1)]
    PIXEL_CLK = 373811
    H_DISP = 2304
    H_FPORCH = 168
    H_SYNC = 248
    H_BPORCH = 416
    H_SYNC_POL = 0
    V_DISP = 1440

    But so as not to exceed the MGA's 360MHz DAC limit, try this too:

    [*Next_Monitor_@77Hz_(2304x1440X8.Z1)]
    PIXEL_CLK = 359793
    H_DISP = 2304
    H_FPORCH = 168
    H_SYNC = 248
    H_BPORCH = 416
    H_SYNC_POL = 0
    V_DISP = 1440

      I had to guess the values for
      V_FPORCH = ?
      V_SYNC = ?
      V_BPORCH = ?
      V_SYNC_POL = ?

      but it did not work.
      could you give me those values too?
      If this does not work, values for 2048x1280 would also be valuable.

      Thanks, Claude

        V_SYNC is your refresh rate... ie 77(Hz) like Ashley mentioned to prevent overrunning the RAMDAC's 360mHz limit.

        V_FPORCH (try 0-10) and V_BPORCH (try 30-50) sets the top and bottom screen positions.

        V_SYNC_POL is normally positive but can be negative on some monitors.

        I can't specifically say what these should be set to (experiment!), so I'll let Ashley (or anyone else who can run this ultra high res, aye Pauly, Maggs?! answer up for the rest.

          But V_SYNC is mostly 3, so it cannot be the refresh rate.

          Has anybody the Settings for 2048x1280?
