    Virtual Network Computing.

A friend of mine told me about this little gem last night, it's a small program that allows remote access to a computer, great for those SETI/Genome clients.
It certainly saved me a switchbox.

VNC is a great application. Check out the VNC FAQ question 54 for security issues. For win32 systems, cygwin (sources.redhat.com/cygwin) includes the openssh version of ssh/sshd and can be downloaded from that site or one of its mirrors.

I believe I'm quite safe here. The PC running the VNC server is not connected to the internet, just the one running the client, and it's protected by ZoneAlarm.
