Do any of you guys know where I might find c++ for free? I need to blag a little in about 10 days and could do with some quick practice. I guess I'm looking for a visual programming environment, and I just want to write stuff that displays a title screen, a few text boxes, gets a few keyboard responses and does a sum. It doesn't matter if its a time-limited demo etc.
Java might also some in handy

Many Thanks

Tony.

You can download microsoft's newest visual studio for free, althought it's 100 megs.

You can download the Borland C++ 5.5 command line tools for free from <a Borland

Try there, it kinda works, just need to do one or two things before you can use it, but its worth it, and its only 8 megs!
