  • Does anyone have an HP SCSI Scanner?

If so, you just HAVE to do this:

    Turn off Scanner,
    Set SCSI ID to 0,
Hold in green 'Scan' button on front of scanner,
    Turn on Scanner,

Sit back and listen! Now, who can tell me what the tune is?

    EDIT: Had SCSI ID wrong...

    Cheers,
    Steve

I have an old HP Scanjet 4P SCSI scanner.
But there is no "scan" button on the front of it. Only a power switch towards the rear.

Guess I don't get to listen to the tune

We want a link to a wave file, SteveC!
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

            OK, he you go:

            http://194.131.85.151/wwwrebus/pcvcr002.mpg

it's a bit quiet so you might need to turn your speakers up a notch or three. Also, it turns black and white half way through for some reason....

EDIT: And PS: That' file is ~4mb

I'm no music expert but I think it's "An Ode to Joy", http://www.bachfaq.org/odetojoy.html
Edit: Oh, here's a "slightly" more modern version: http://www.dave-gipson.com/carroll/C...s/odetojoy.mid
