  • what to blow my tax return on

    current gaming system:
    abit be6-2, 512 megs pc133 micron memory
sb live w/ live drive, 3com 905-tx nic
12x ide dvd drive, 8x ide cdrw drive
18 gig 7,200 rpm wd ide, 61.4 gig maxtor ide 5400 rpm drive
    geforce2 ultra 64meg ddr w/ dvi,17" monitor

what i have been thinking of blowing my tax return on:
    option 1
21" monitor and a nice scanner with autodocument feeder

    option 2
apple g4 to replace my current g3

    option 3
    amd 1.2gig tbird
either abit kt7a-raid or asus a7v133a
    512 megs memory
    2 ibm 45gig ide drives

    so which should i get?
would i really see that much difference right now playign games on the 1.2 amd vs the piii 1 gig?

the other reason i kinda want the amd system is then i could put my g400max back in use instead of sitting in its anti static bag. i do still have the rr-g in use because i went out and got a g200 pci.

    decisions, decisions

i have a few weeks to decide since i only electronicaly filed on feb 16th.

How about a flatpanel? I just read a review and quite frankly, I'm addicted.

Here are the specs for Sampo PD-80A

Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

According to the latest official figures, 43% of all statistics are totally worthless...

liek i said this is only the gaming computer, the fast western digital enterprise 10,000 rpm scsi drives are in the dual cpu machine and noise does not bother me much as i still have a hp netserver 5/133 lh running at home

but since everyone is saying monitor i have looked at the sony cpd g520 and that is probably what i will be getting.
