  • Win2k remote stuff

I want to make my other Win2k box do stuff on demand - ie run a program or some such malarky

So, how would I do this?

    Paul.

I think Pace wants to bark orders at his PC . Get some voice recognition software.

Many uses for this, but the pressing one at the moment is firing up a dedicated Q3/UT/CS server when I want.

          This should do the trick:

Pace, are you asking for remote control software?

Erm, I was hoping for a 'better' solution than that. Better in my case being me having no other apps running, but firing up a task when I want. i.e. from the command line.

Let me know if you want any more snippets of info

              Ta, Paul.

Could do with a few more specifics but can't you just run the Telnet server on the remote machine and telnet into it, you can then do all of your command line stuff.
