  • I can't connect anymore....

I don't know why, but I can't connect to the internet anymore using win98. It works just fine under win2k, but not 98. I even lowered the fsb to 100 to see if that was the problem. Anyone experience this or know how to fix it?

I get either a line is busy, or can't establish connection error thingy.

    Any help would be appreciated....

    Thanks,

    Dimitri

Dimi, could you give us some more info? Modem or cable or what? Did you try to delete your DUN under Win98 and reinstall it? Did you try to delete your modem/NIC entry under device manager in Win98 and reboot to let it redetect the thing?
tried older or newer drivers for your stuff?

If modem, did you try to connect a normal phone to that line and call the ISP number? Does it ring? Do you get a tone before you dial the number?
    Etc.
