• dsp : BT848 Capture card ?

    dsp

May I ask - what is this BT848 Capture card ?? Is it the answer to my problem with choosing between G450 (DDR-ram compared to G400/RR) and Marvel G450 (no second vga). Is this a "neutral" capturecard, a solely physical/technical piece of metal supplying the necessary connectors ??

ogjan, WinTV cards have the BT 848 chip on them. These are a generic capture IC and are on a wide array of TV cards produced that will work with just about anyother manufactures graphics card.

Greebe's right (of course). What I have is a Brooktree BT848 based capture card. Its branded by Zoltrix (See link, TV MAX card) http://www.zoltrix.com/multimedia/video/TVMAXSPECS.HTM . Its just a low, low end capture card, nowhere near a Rainbow Runner G series.

So, the drivers are basically universal?

If so, does anybosy know where I can grab Win2K drivers for the BT848? (nee' Intel Create & Share PCI -this is the card that powers a small CCD with a funky looking MINI DIN - P/S2 style connector)
