    I just downloaded the AGP 8X specification from intel, and found something interesting on page 13.

    Here is a quote from that page:
    "Multiple AGP 8X ports support."
    Sounds interesting, eh?

      Yeah, but Win2k wont will only see two of the monitors and place dialog boxes between the monitors.

        There have been chipsets with multiple AGP ports in design for a while now (and I may or may not have seen one).
        Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

            Yes, Wombat, but each had an additional Northbridge I believe for each port. Now it looks like this won't be necessary.
