  • Update on Gateway Athlon problems

Last week I indicated that I had a problem with a Gateway system not booting. Joel and PaulCS in particular diagnosed it as a CPU problem. The owner decided to forget about Gateway altogether and had me get him both a CPU and PSU. The computer booted promply with the new components however the PSU could not fit in the case so after a bit of experimenting I did determine that the original PSU was still good and only the CPU was bad. Thanks to you guys for the help.

    Regards
    DJ
