I have a g400 and asus a7v and duron 600. It works fine in d2, but when I try to run any 3d games like Q3 or diablo2, It won´t run them.
Can anyone help me?

More details please. What doe you mean it won't run them? What else do you have in your system? Did it ever work? what lead up to this point? Did you install all of the latest drivers? Did you check for IRQ conflicts? etc...
Dave
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.
The G400 or any of the new AGP cards should be on a high priority IRQ (9, 10, or 11), and it should not be sharing with anything but IRQ Holder for PCI Steering or the ACPI equivalent. Having said that, Grego, if your system is working properly, then you probably shouldn't attempt to fix it.
There are some compatibility issues with the PowerDesk 5.5X drivers and some VIA chipsets. Try the PD 6.0X betas, which fix the problem, or 5.41. I assume your board shipped with relatively new VIA 4in1's. If you continue having problems, you might want to look into upgrading them.

I got a duron 600 OC 900, and it is running 100% stable.
If I try to play any 3d game it stops or goes back in to windows2000.
I have tryed to remove all of my other cards. But it does not help.
I also have tryed too install the 4 in driver from via, but stil no luck
And I am running the latest drivers for my g400max

That doesn´t mean anything. Diferent OS can expose an almost-stable cpu. I had a celery 450@ 2.1v and it ran win98 every day long, if needed. Once I tried linux and I got errors all over the place. 2.2v did the trick - and I could sware it was 110% stable in win98.
I once had similar problem in 3D games playing. However, when I reinstall the window98, I install VIA driver 4.24 first and then install PD6.01 beta driver, it works fine.
I guess maybe the sequence of driver installation have some effects.
