  • WinMil exciting menus - broken?

OK, so I got a version of windows millenium, and everything seemed to install perfectly nicely (over win98SE, full install coming soon) but I don't appear to have the shiny menu effects (fade in?).

There's a checkbox in the display, but it makes no difference.

Is this a problem any other murcers have noticed, or have I just managed to generate it myself?

i believe that it may take a while for the menu effects to work.I think the theory is to hide the seldom used shortcuts and show the most frequently used,so it may 'learn' this after a bit.

Ah, that would explain the current state of my start bar.

      Thanks for that.
