  • How to install Win2k SP1

I've just resetup Win2k - and I want to install SP1: how do I go about doing this? I know how to do the actual install but what I remember from NT4 said to reinstall the service pack after every addition of a new NT4 component - but what about Apps/drivers etc? Install SP1 first?

    TIA, Paul.

I installed SP1 once and forgot about it. Nothing special.

With Windows 2000 that's history. You install the Service Pack whenever you want to and will only need to install it again if you reinstalled the original release. (You can even do a new install of Windows 2000 with SP1 already applied.)

You can read about all this in the FAQs and readmes of SP1.
