  • Two harddisks, one mapping ?

    Hi,

is it somehow possible to access two (or more) harddisks with only one drive letter?
I plan to add some disks to my system, but i really don't want to have up to ten drive letters.

    Thanks
    Rakido

    Yes it is.

You can do it with a RAID controller, via spanning or striping.

I actually think thath you can do it with software under W2K.

with win2000 you can do the unix type mount points.

win win nt or win2000 you can also do spanning.

for win 9x look at a program called bigdisk.
