  • Hey, where's my Glaze3d card?

I had nearly forgotten about my second favorite graphics card company.....BitBoys! Yep. They STILL exist and recently received significant additional funding:

    http://www.bitboys.fi/pr_stock.html

I had to go to their US site: www.bitboys.com . They even have a "drivers" page in their support section! Nothing there though, and correct me if I'm wrong, but they've never produced any silicon-based product!

Wait a sec.....is that a knock at my door? UPS delivery of my pre-ordered Glaze3d card?

    Gotta go (chuckles o' plenty)

They could at least have the presence of mind to change the FAQ.

    Q. When I can get a graphics card with the Glaze3D core in it?

    A. Glaze3D 1200 and 2400 based products are expected on market in the first half of 2000.

    Oy indeed!

      BitBoys... WHAHAHA

they 'invent' new cool technologies, but forget the difficulties of actually implementing them.

I think that they could have been a huge succes on the market if they didn't try to make their own chips and cards, but sell their tochnology as a company that sells intellectual property (whatever the exact name is), like GigaPixel (now part of 3Dfx)
