    How can I get dvd in win.2000?
    It wont even see a dvd.but it sees reg.cd's
    fine.any program at all?
    g400 max,rr,memorex dvd

    What software are you using? I prefer PowerDVD 2.55 as it works flawlessly under Win2k.

      I used MGI's DVDMax under W2K without issue as well.

      So, what's the troublesome product?

      Even though there is some obscur stuff to do with DVD in the base W2k product, it does require a 3rd party software to play DVDs. It cannot do it by itself, unlike regular CDs.
