, which is better for gaming?

I just wrote a big long post that got erased because of wrong password so now it'll be short. I want to upgrade my processor.Is the celeron a good choice for gaming? Does it have all the mmx instructions that the p3 has and does the small amount of onboard cache effect anything if I have 256mb of ram?I want to overclock it, I have good pc133 ram and alot of fans including one on my G400. What do you guys have celery or P3?Thanks
