    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

Logitech has had digital/optical trackballs out for YEARS!!! Go to any computer store and look at the Logitech trackballs. Any of them that have the red ball with black dots on it is an optical trackball mouse.

So once again we see that Microsoft has stollen an idea from someone else and called it their own.

These cordless mice aren't very good for gaming, are they? I had thought that they weren't nearly as responsive as even a PS/2 mouse. I've only used an Antec IR or Logitech RF keyboard/mouse combo.

I use a Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse SE (it cost an extra $2 so I can change the colour) I forget it's cordless, it runs very smoothly, never misses a beat, ofcourse after about 3 months of heavy usage (at my computer for 8 hours a day it's turned on for about 12) the batteries start to go, as long as you get good quality batteries like Duracells it's fine. It is so much easier to not have the cord, I can easily sit in front of the TV (about 3 metres away from the computer and use the G400 Zoom thingy to zoom in on the screen and use the mouse, all I do is pick it up and move, but I really would like a optical so I don't need to cart my mousepad around but I wont ever use a cord again. Oh and by the way I game a lot, UT, CS, TFC, HL.

If you say so. I guess I'll have to try out my buddies cordless mouse on Q3A and see for myself.
I've got some old remotes that have produced quite a pile of used batteries waiting for recycling. I'd rather not continue to contribute to that problem. It would be nice to see someone produce a mouse that uses NiMH batteries and a charger ... though I suppose it would be too expensive for most consumers to bother with.
