    Those are RC versions, not final...
    How does DX8 works in win2k? I installed it in win98 and to be honest didnĀ“t see any improvements...

      sorry...i didn't catch that fact till after i posted!

      i seen no difference either...so i just restored from an image file to go back to 7.1.

      microsoft says "any day now" for the final release of sp1.

            Hold that tongue there Ski... I could be wrong, and if I am, I apologize, but I believe you are supposed to keep silent on the fact that you are a beta tester. (NDA's and such).

              You're not wrong. In fact, you are perfectly right. I know cause i am having to deal with a couple NDA's from microsoft...

              Ski: in fact, if i remember correctly, you are not even supposed to say that you are on the beta test. Doing so should violate the above mentioned NDA.
