Problmes with G400 and 75Mhz AGP??

I just got my G400 DH 32mb Card and for some reason, it can't even take 75Mhz AGP bus in 2D (not to mention 3D).
any advice?

I seem to have ACPI problems with it under win 98, when go into suspend, the computer can't wake up.
