When you own your own business you only have to work half a day. You can do anything you want with the other twelve hours.

If you are installing a second CPU on an existing system, you must reinstall NT or Win2K as a new installation if any patches or service packs have been installed since the original installation. This is the only way for NT or Win2k to recognize the new CPU. You can not do an "upgrade" installation - it must be a "new" install and you will have to reinstall all software after that. So, in other words, start all over again from scratch.

I've seen it, but it wasn't pretty. There was drilling involved.

There is a company that makes a Socket 370 to Socket 370 adapter (Spacer for lack of a better word) for the CeleryIIs that enables SMP without resorting to surgery or other hacking bloodshed.

          Check it out at http://www.2cpu.com
