  • Any BX board for FC-PGA that will do 8.5x multipler?

    Hi,
As the msg said, I know the Abit BE6 ver2. with bios update will give me that multipler. And beside I don't really want to use a Slot 1 Mobo. I know ASUS CUBX is FCPGA, but I heard and read from the website, it only supports 8x multiplers. Any other choice?
My CPU is Celeron2-566. just need a mobo to run. G400 Max, 256MB Micron PC133 Cas2, SB Live w live drive 2. Sony CDRW, 3Com 900B NIC, and only 4GB HDD =(

I hear Asus's new beta BIOS for the CUBX will support the 8.5 multiplier.

I don't know what your level of comfort is with respect to using a beta BIOS, but here it is:

My Abit BH6 doesn't support the 8.5 clock multiplyer but the chip runs fine in it. The Chips are clocked locked and shouldn't have any problems in a BX board.
