  • Quick question on Abit Slotket........

I just got my Celeron2@566 from UPS and 20 seconds later fedex came with the Abit Slotket that I need to run in my BH6. My question is do I need to set the jumper on the slotket to coppermine for it to work? I took a look at Abits site but they didn't provide much more info then they did with the box it came in. I'm still waiting on my Aphla heatsink to come in so its gonna be a day or two before I pop this baby in.

Sure. The Celeron 2 is a coppermine with half the cache. There are slight pin differences between the FC-PGA and the PPGA sockets, you so the slocket needs to know which one youre using. Good luck with that celery, ive also got a BH6 rev 1.0 with my 533 running at 800 @ 1.55v stable, and im going to try for 112 FSB tomorrow (come on 900!)
