Bootable disk image software

I need a program that can copy a bootable disk into a image on the harddrive which i can then write to other disks, and if possible that the image can become self-extracting.

I saw that IBM uses a program which I think i named EMF by Daniel V. It was able to do such stuff but I can't find it.

If anyone has any info on this software or any similar program please let me know.

For doing floppy images, winimage 5 is the best thing to use.
