Does the idea of a 'beta' bios seem a little scary or are pretty stable?

I'm having a strange problem since flashing the bios and was wondering if anyone else is seeing this:

when I shutdown Winblows(98se), after the case shuts off, the numbers lock light on my Logitech Internet Keyboard stays lit!?!
Sound like a bios prob or mobo prob?

                Jim,
It could be a power on by keyboard thing.
Do you have any of the power on by keyboard options set in the bios?

                  hey chuck,
I checked the bios and found a setting but it was set to button only (meaning case button) all suspend and power settings were disabled

                    Jim,
I think my BF6 sends power to the keyboard all the time too (my BH6 didn't).
I'll check whern I get home.
